DigiAdmin
A digital asset management platform built for the Mississippi Department of Archives and History to streamline archival operations and preservation workflows. The first commit to this project was in 2015.
DigiAdmin is a comprehensive CMS built with Laravel 12 and Filament v5 that manages the full lifecycle of digital archival collections. It handles accession intake, series and set organization, original material tracking, metadata cataloging, and storage infrastructure management across NAS and drive pools.
The platform also supports order processing, featured content curation, role-based access control, and operational monitoring — giving staff a single interface to manage both digital preservation and public-facing content.
The application is backed by PostgreSQL, with Laravel Scout powering search, Horizon managing queues, and Reverb providing real-time capabilities. Livewire 4 and Alpine.js drive a reactive frontend styled with Tailwind CSS v4. The codebase is covered by a Pest v3 test suite with CI/CD pipelines ensuring code quality on every push. Deployments are automated through Laravel Envoy, with Laravel Telescope and Pulse providing ongoing application monitoring and performance insights.
